It was 1991, the middle of the month of September, in Hinterschmidrüti. I was still attending to work outside before it would become dark when I could no longer see. When the work was done, I quickly proceeded to the kitchen in order to get some coffee. After greeting those present in the kitchen with "Shalom," I went back outside in order to go back to my room. However, before I decided to go back, I raised my eyes in order to look at the star-filled sky. In that moment a traveling light in the night sky flashed, moving in a westerly direction. Somehow I was certain that it was a UFO, amd I spontaneously thought to myself, "Just do me a favor and brighten up again." Before I could even think, the ship brightened up already, so bright that it appeared to me that it was some fivefold bigger, and over me came a genuine feeling of bliss. As quickly however as the ship brightened up it faded out again and disappeared at the western horizon. Yet I long looked to the west with open mouth before I returned to my room with a continued blissful feeling.
